What age do you start private piano lessons?
We typically start around age 5-6, though it depends on the child's readiness. Adults of any age are also welcome — it's never too late to learn!
Do I need a piano or keyboard at home?
Regular practice between lessons is important for progress. A full-size keyboard (at least 61 keys with touch sensitivity) is a great affordable option for beginners. Contact us for guidance on the right setup for your program.
How long are private lessons?
Lessons are available in 30-minute or 60-minute sessions. We recommend 30 minutes for young beginners and 60 minutes for older students and adults.
Do you prepare students for exams or recitals?
Yes! We offer preparation for RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) exams and other certification programs, as well as our own student recitals throughout the year.
