Which woodwind instruments do you teach?
We teach flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, and recorder. If you're unsure which instrument to start with, our instructors are happy to help you choose.
Do I need my own instrument?
Yes — students need their own instrument to practice at home. Many woodwind instruments are available to rent affordably, and we can point you in the right direction.
What age do you start woodwind lessons?
Most woodwind instruments are best started around age 8–10, when students have the lung capacity and hand size needed. Flute and recorder can start a bit earlier.
Can lessons help me prepare for school band?
Absolutely. Many of our students take lessons specifically to improve their skills for school band or orchestra. We can align lessons with your school's curriculum.
