Common Questions
Which brass instruments do you teach?
We teach trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba, euphonium, and baritone. If you're unsure which to start with, our instructors are happy to help you choose.
Do I need my own instrument?
Yes — students need their own instrument to practice at home. Many brass instruments are available to rent affordably through local music stores, and we can advise you.
What age do you start brass lessons?
Most brass instruments are best started around age 8–10, when students have the lung capacity and physical development needed. Trumpet is often the earliest starting point.
Can lessons help me prepare for school band or marching band?
Absolutely. Many of our students take lessons to improve for school band, marching band, or jazz band. We can align lessons with your school's program and repertoire.
