Our teachers teach every common member of the brass family: Trumpet, Trombone, and Tuba. Students will learn to approach the instrument with a relaxed yet focused mind and body.
All aspects of being a brass musician are discussed, from breathing and posture to tone production and technique. Lessons will also include an emphasis on music theory and aural skills (listening) to help further enrich the journey to becoming an outstanding musician.
Practice techniques are a main focus. Listening examples and materials may be provided depending on each individual. All styles of music may be explored and lessons will be tailored to what the student finds interesting and fun.

I don't have any musical background or ability. Can I still help my child practice?
Yes. Even if you don't have a musical background you can ask the teacher for advice on how to help your child practice. By simply monitoring that they are doing exercises a certain number of times per day the student will progress. Parents will occasionally sit in on their child's music lesson to get an idea of the proper way a song should sound or how the student should be positioning their hands.
